Online Education for Minimal Risk DUI Offenders

Intervention Instruction, Inc., a leading provider of education and treatment for first-time Driving Under the Influence (DUI) offenders, wanted to expand their organizational reach and educational offering to underserved rural areas within the state of Illinois.

Collaborating with a team of substance abuse counselors and working with development agency fx170, we designed an online substance abuse education program for minimal risk DUI offenders. The goal of the online program was not to mimic the classroom experience, but to enhance it. In addition to reworking and incorporating the most effective classroom activities and best practices, additional learning interactions were created to emphasize and enhance key learning objectives.
